Mexican Pottery 1997
Gardiner Gallery of Art: March 17, 1997 – March 21, 1997
Six potters from the village of Mata Ortiz visited the Gardiner Gallery to display their pottery. An auction was held on Thursday of that week, and they created work in house daily from 10am to 8pm. Artists also gave a 5 day workshop to students.
