On March 1, 1995, local Stillwater store "Herbs and Things" celebrated their grand reopening with an art exhibition and reading room. The art exhibit featured 21 contemporary works by Toma Abbo, who was present at the ceremony. The artwork was sold at the event for prices ranging from $800 to $2000.
