African Art exhibition

Gardiner Gallery of Art:  June 21, 1971 – July 16, 1971

First showing in Stillwater of Artifacts Open through July 16 8am-5pm. Shows photographs and slides collected by a midwestern cultural research team by OSU located in Ethiopia, Uganda and Kenya. Hugh Rouk was the principle investigator. The exhibition held wood carvings, native fabric, pottery, ceramics and manuscripts from all three countries. It also showed what day to day experiences were like in volumes.
